I’m just going to be honest and tell you that we’re having the laziest of Sundays over here. Our weekend camping trip was cancelled because of rain, but this morning it’s sunny and clear on the farm and I’m not mad about it.
We’re watching football with friends, cooking way too many pounds of bacon, and letting the kids chase the goats around the field (every bit as entertaining as it sounds, btw).
I hope your Sunday finds you resting well, however that may look.
Before we head into another busy week, I thought I’d hop over and share some fun links from this past one.
Over on the Mom Wants More podcast, we chatted with Lindsay McPhail from Wild Woman Magazine and the conversation that followed was straight fire. Which is fitting because Lindsay is a self described fire-starter. A risk taker. An adventure maker.
She’s passionate about disrupting culture and inviting people to experience God in a real way. Along with her husband, she’s helped bring a children’s charity called Sparrow Clubs to the Rogue Valley in Oregon in 2003, and received a home from ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home edition in 2011.
Since then she’s written a few books, run retreats, and started the Barnstormer’s Vintage Fair. She’s currently the editor in chief of the Wild Woman Magazine and runs an outreach called Women’s Fight Night.
She fully believes that when we know who we are and walk powerfully in what God has given us, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.
We couldn’t agree more! Oh, and did I mention she has 4 boys? If you’re a mom who’s wrestling out how to reconcile the longing or dream that’s tapping you on the shoulder with your actual busy, right-now life, this episode (#034) is for you.

We also shared our latest Friday Faves episode (#035)
where Alana and I dish on our current obsessions from the week, which happened to include the perfect “Ann Perkins” fringe bangs, the softest leggings ever, the cup (and fancy metal straws) that will change your hydration game, and the workout that just might change your life while it changes your butt.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m tripping out on how fast the last month flew by. I have a feeling October will be no different, so I’m just buckling in and trying to enjoy the ride! I’m leaning in and working hard towards some pretty big goals and I can’t wait to share with you how that goes. There’s about 90 days left of the year and I intend to make them count!
Starting tomorrow, obv, because today I’m all about that bacon, mimosa, and goat-watching life.
Let me live!
